I am a wife and mother of two beautiful children who share in my love of nature, plants, growing food, and harvesting seeds.

Raised in the world of modern monoculture horticulture, nursery work, and farming, I witnessed firsthand how those practices often fail to complement the earth or serve the highest good of all. For most of my life I have felt a deep responsibility and connection toward plants — sharing in their radiance, feeling their pain when they struggled — yet it was only more recently, as I began growing food for myself and my family, that I came into true stewardship with them.

Each year, my garden became more organic, more natural, and less confined to straight lines. Plants began integrating with one another instead of being separated, and I saw clear improvements in their health, vitality, and abundance. The plants themselves showed me that much of what I had been taught simply wasn’t true.

I began eating what I had once been told were “weeds” and discovered how deeply satisfying and nourishing they were — often more so than the conventional vegetables I had eaten most of my life.

A Living Partnership

Beginning years ago, I have an intense drive to collect as much diversity and as many unusual seeds and plants as I can find. I grow them in the loving energy I live by: allowing them to pop up where they please, causing minimal disturbance to the soil, and practising simple methods like chop-and-drop — returning organic matter to the ground to protect and nourish it. This is nature’s way, and it is my way too.

My driving purpose is to help bring about the evolution of plants and seeds for the greater good of all life on earth. Instead of keeping the potential of new varieties to myself, I wish to share the honour of tending to and loving new creations into being — so they can find their rightful homes in other gardens and regions.

It brings me great joy to think of my customers discovering unique variations, plants that are especially suited to them and their land. In this way, we all evolve together, in harmony with the earth.
